Could more than two weeks really have passed since our launch party for Just Plump Penelope Goes to Kindergarten? Yes, indeed, it is almost half a month ago that Sue, Jen and I had the pleasure of sharing our newest creation with our readers. And so it is time for us to say a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who made this celebration such a joy!
First, thank you to everyone at Antler Ridge Winery in Mertztown for once again providing us with a wonderful venue for our event and for making all of us feel so welcome. We are hoping that Antler Ridge will be our official launch site for all of our books, and we look forward to a long and happy working relationship with Jane and all of the staff.
Second, a huge thank you to each and every one of you who came out to purchase our newest release. It was a genuine pleasure to visit with all of you and to sign the new addition to your library for you. It is for you, our readers, that we are committed to continue writing, illustrating and designing. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to fellow self-published authors Dori Hoch and Nadine Poper for spending a part of the afternoon with us.
Finally I want to take this opportunity to thank Sue and Jen for all they do! I feel truly blessed to be working with these two very talented women. Without them, my stories would be nothing more than words in documents on my flash drive. They breathe life into my stories with their artistic and graphic design abilities, and I look forward to the day when all of their hard work will bring them the recognition they truly deserve.
It was absolutely a wonderful party for the newest Penelope installment. But even if you couldn’t attend, you can still get a copy of our new book. Where?
The Market at Boyer’s Junction
and of course, from our website: mahayeswrites.com
Wherever you purchase your copy, we hope that you will enjoy sharing Penelope’s newest adventure with the very special children in your life!
P.S. — BTW, a final thank you to John, Josh, and Tom — three awesome husbands without whose support we three storytelling ladies couldn’t do what we do!
