Monthly Archives: March 2016

Hello, dear readers . . .

What a glorious “spring” day!  I hope that Mother Nature is not simply toying with us and that we have seen the last of that flaky white stuff for 2016.

Now that the weather is becoming more predictable we will begin our Just Plump Penelope road trip to visit as many libraries and schools as we possibly can.  If you read last week’s post, you know that we got off to a wonderful start with two assembly presentations at Willow Creek Elementary in the Fleetwood Area School District.  The entire experience was awesome, and we can’t thank Sandy Hawkins, Dave Crissman, the WC PTA, the faculty, and of course the students for the very warm reception that we received.  We hope that all of the folks at WC enjoyed our program; I can assure you that Sue, Jennifer and I had a great time.

So this Saturday Penelope and I will be visiting the Wernersville Public Library, 100 N. Reber Street in Wernersville, at 11 a.m.  I will be reading the book and will also be signing books for anyone who purchases one.  Library director Tina Santoro is planning to have some special treats for all of us to share, and I think it will be a very fine way to get the weekend started.  JPP and I hope to see you there.

Just in case you can’t make it to any of the places where we are appearing, Just Plump Penelope is also available at The Market at Boyer’s Junction, Firefly Bookstore in Kutztown, and Starr Books in Douglassville.  And if none of these locations works for you, you can purchase the book from our online store on our website.  And yes, we can send you a signed copy!

Guess that’s all the news for now.  Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day, and I’ll look forward to seeing you soon!
